Content Management System (CMS) for Cloud Architecture
Content Management Systems (CMS) have evolved into more than just a publishing content engine. Today, CMS allow the user to conceive, edit, and publish content, while giving designers and developers more flexibility in customizing the look and functionality.
There are many CMS products currently available, both commercially and Open Source.
Having looked into some of the systems, we have found that none on the market would adequately lend themselves to cloud architecture. Thus we have designed and implemented our own system, built specifically for the Amazon Cloud System (although it would be easy to adapt it to other cloud architectures such as RackSpace, Mircrosoft Azures, etc).
Our CMS enables distribution over many servers with the view to adequatly meet heavy demand periods.
Other functionality include:
- Page templates;
- Tokens;
- Preview and live states for any page;
- Control over menus system;
- Set flexible security levels.
